All of the Corinthian Bells wind chimes are metal wind chimes constucted from powder coated anodized aluminum.  The color of the powder coating determines the color of the wind chime.  The T446 comes in 6 designer colors: green, patina green, copper vein, midnight blue, black and black spectrum.

This metalic wind chime is tuned to the key of C.

This wind chime is also known as the "Cathedral" because its sounds so reminescent of church bells.

Specifications:

The T446 windchime weighs 12 pounds and is 74 inches in length from the top of the hanging hoop to the bottom of the bottom weight.

All Corinthian Bells windchime consist of 6 anodized aluminum tubes suspended from a crown piece.  The diameter of each tube of this windchime is 1 1/2 inches.

The longest tube is approximately 53 3/8 inches long and the shortest tube is 41 inches long.  The crown piece is shaped like a hollow frisbee.  It is 8 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 inches wide (see diagram above).  Therefore, the overall dimensions of this wind chime is approximately 74 inches long and 9 inches in diameter.  This is, of course, before it moves.

The clanger disc (the piece that hits the tubes) is a horizontal black wooden disc.  It is 3/4 inches thick and 4 1/4 inches in diameter.

The bottom weight is connected to the clanger disc via black twine and is a flat sheet of anodized aluminum.  It is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and only 1-2 milimeters thick.

Because the Corinthian Bells wind chimes are made from powder coated anodized alimunium, they are extremly durable. I have owned mine for over 4 years. During this time, I have never taken them down. They still look and sound as beautiful as the day I got them. You should be careful however.  Take them down in a storm or at least make sure that they will not damage anything if a string were to break in high winds.  The warranty doesn't cover that and it could be dangerous.
