All of the Corinthian Bells wind chimes are metal wind chimes constucted from powder coated anodized aluminum. The color of the powder coating determines the color of the wind chime. The T516 comes in 6 designer colors: green, patina green, copper vein, midnight blue, black and black spectrum.
This metalic wind chime is tuned to the key of A.
I absolutely love this wind chime. There are times when it actually hums instead of strikes tones. I have given many of these as gifts and the lucky recipients have always loved them. Many have given them to others. --Cindy from North Bend, Oregon
Specifications:
The T516 windchime weighs 10 pounds and is 50 inches in length from the top of the hanging hoop to the bottom of the bottom weight.
All Corinthian Bells windchime consist of 6 anodized aluminum tubes suspended from a crown piece. The diameter of each tube of this windchime is 1 1/4".
The longest tube is approximately 27 5/8 inches long and the shortest tube is approximately 19 3/8 inches long.
The crown piece is shaped like a hollow frisbee. It is 10 1/2 inches in diameter and its width is 2 1/2 inches (see diagram above). Therefore, the overall dimensions of this wind chime is approximately 50 inches long and 10 1/2 inches in diameter. This is, of course, before it moves.
The clanger disc (the piece that hits the tubes) is a horizontal black wooden disc. It is 1 inch thick and 5 1/4" inches in diameter.
The bottom weight which
is connected
to the
clanger disc via black
twine and is a flat sheet of anodized aluminum. It is 6 inches in
diameter and only 1-2 milimeters thick.
Because
the Corinthian Bells wind chimes are made from powder coated anodized
alimunium, they are extremly durable. I have owned mine for over 4 years. During
this time, I have never taken them down. They still look and sound as beautiful
as the day I got them. You should be careful however. Take them down in a
storm or at least make sure that they will not damage anything if a string were
to break in high winds. The warranty doesn't cover that and it could be
dangerous.
